Common name

Description

Rhizome creeping, filiform, with dense brown hairs to 0.5 mm. Fronds spaced 0.2–1.2 cm apart. Stipe 1–20 mm long, winged in the upper half, glabrous except for base. Lamina lanceolate or deltoid in outline, (1–)2–4.5 x 0.5–3 cm, pinnately lobed to bipinnate; pinnae 2–5 mm wide, obtuse, glabrous; pinnately veined, intramarginal vein present but not very distinct, often interrupted; false veins many. Sori many, lateral, one per lobe; indusium narrowly turbinate, 1–1.5 mm long, 0.4–0.5 mm in diameter, mouth not dilated; receptacle exserted for up to 12 mm, often recurved.
